“Energy Star” is a joint program of the US Environmental Protection Agency and the US Department of Energy helping people save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices. ES do so by qualifying and certifying products and services.
In 2010 Energy Star helped saved greenhouse gases equivalent to those from 33 million cars and nearly $18 billion on utility bills.
